EBU has now released the ratings of the Eurovision Song Contest 2010, and it looks like that the viewing figures were a bit lower than in 2009, but as high as in 2007 and 2008.

An estimated 69 million viewers watched the Final of the Eurovision Song Contest broadcast on 29 May from Oslo. 20.3 million people watched the first Semi-final on Tuesday the 25th of May, 18.9 million viewers tuned in on Thursday the 27th of May for the second Semi-Final. The Semi-Final ratings were similar to those recorded in 2008. The cumulative amount of viewers was 108.2 million.

An increase in market share over 2009 figures was significant in a range of countries such as Germany, Ireland, Belgium and Serbia. The cumulative amount of viewers was 108.2 million, compared to 124 million last year and 106 million in 2007 and 2008.

These figures don't include Turkey, so they have been estimated at levels comparable to 2009.
